Show Committee Plans Innovations For County High School Day Extensive preparations are under way to make the annual an-nual Utah County H i g h School day, to be held in Provo Pro-vo Friday May 2, one of the greatest . school events evei ! held here. j Present plans include the introduction intro-duction of some innovations in the ! program to be staged that day ,to ; be participated in by the eight , county high schools. A departure from the traditional schedule may be attemted by staging mass demonstrations dem-onstrations in games and drills for girls as well as boys. Maypole, Dance-In Dance-In this connection it is proposed to stage a Maypole braiding dance during the day in the "V" stadium, with girls from each of the eight high schools participating. The afternoon activities consisting consist-ing of the regional trade and field nieet will be conducted as usual under the direction of the Utah High School Athletic association. Plenty of music will be available with eight high school bands In attendance throughout the day. Further details will he given later.
