Show Utah's First 3.2 Suspect Taken Into Custody Again SALT LAKE CITY, July H (U.R) "He's at it again," said a policeman triumphantly as ho towed Utah's first 3.2 beer suspect into the police station for the second time. The suspect was J. H. Hawkins, Hawk-ins, the first persons arrested in Utah for possesion of the 3.2 brew. The officer reported Hawkins was arrested while' delivering two cases of the boverage. Two more cases was found In Hawkins' Hawk-ins' automobile, the officer reported. re-ported. Hawkins was released on $300 bail. Hawkins was first arrested June 3S after deputy sheriffs and federal agents reported finding beer in his truck which was stored in a Salt Lake garage. ga-rage. He was acquitted of the charge when he claimed the beer was consigned to Nevada from Wyoming. |
