Show Springville Club Hears Talk From Seminary Teacher "Thanksgiving Is a religious holiday and should be observed as such," declared William T. Tew, principal of the Springville seminary sem-inary at the Kiwanis club meeting and luncheon Thursday evening. The program was specially arranged ar-ranged in observance of Thanksgiving, Thanks-giving, with Dr. John R. Anderson acting as toastmaster. W. E. Miller of Provo favored the club with violin selections during dur-ing the evening. The club members mem-bers voted to support a project to feed the undernourished children in this community. Following the regular club meeting, the newly elected officers offi-cers met with the retiring officers to discuss general plans for the coming year. Secretary Milton Harrison was reappointed secretary secre-tary of the club. He was also released re-leased from the newly appointed position of director in the club and Harold Christenscn appointed lo fill the vacancy. The club officers during the evening eve-ning also accepted an invitation from Mrs. E. A. Lee lo hold their annual Christmas parly for lhe children at her home. |
