Show 2 SENTENCED FOR THEFTS i , . ! Areo Brimhall, 22, and William Ward, 18, each was sentenced to serve six months in the Utah county coun-ty jail Thursday morning by Judge Maurice Harding, after they had entered pleas of guilty to charges of petit larceny. The two youths were arrested Wednesday evening by Deputy Sheriffs Ruben Christensen and W. T. Lewis following the theft of a watch, a purse, wallet, and a small amount of money from the home and a set of silverware from a car of Joseph Harmer of Springville, parked on Main street in that city, according to the officers Entrance to the Harmer home was gained through the back door by the use of a pass key. After they had taken the articles they went to the city cemetery in Springville, where they emptied the wallet, divided the loot and burned receipts and papers they did not want, they told the officers. Brimhall was on his way home when he was picked up by the officers, of-ficers, and Ward was arrested later in Provo. The silverware consisted consist-ed of six teaspoons, six dessert spoons, six dessert forks, six medium med-ium knives, one butter knife and one sugar shell. |
