Show Utah Postmasters Convene Here V FINE PROGRAM SBHEDULEDTO OPEN TUESDAY Members of the Utah branch of the National League of District Postmasters will hold their annual convention at dTe Springville Second Sec-ond ward chapel, June 13 and 14, according to announcement by President H. J. Sheffield Jr. of Kaysville, in charge of the meeting. Among those expected to address the convention are Governor Henry H. Blood, Congressman J. W. Robinson, C. T. Hanson of Denver, postoffice inspector in charge of this district; C. F. Dutton, local : post office inspector, and Post- j master John McPhee of Salt Lake. A general program of the con- I vention is as follows: First session, June 13. 9 a. m., registration, welcome addresses by Mayor John L. Whiting and C. G. Salisbury, Kiwanis club president; response, Mary Cooper, Pleasant Grove; pledge lu the flag, led by Sfuut Troop No. 41; vocal solo, W. 1 Elmo Cof final), community singing ; led by E. J. Kirkham, with Howard ' .Kearns at the pipe organ. 10:50 a. m., addresses. Governor Henry H. Blood, and National Representative Rep-resentative John A. Israelson; questions submitted in writing to ; secretary; committees named, by v President H. J. Sheffield Jr. 12:00, dinner served, with Charles Boyer, toastmaster, and music by the high school string quartet. A visit to the art gallery, with talks by Mrs. Mae Huntington. Second session. 2:15 p. m., Community Com-munity singing; addresses, Ezra P. Jensen, Garland; vocal solo, Lela Packard; address, Inspector C. F. ! At the close of the department i meetings the visitors will be taken ' on a trip to the state fish and ' game farm. ! A dance will be held at the Mem- orial hall in the evening. .
