Show RELIC OF WORLD WAR AWARDED TO PROVO CITY A World war relic of exceptional interest in the form of a huge 150 M-M Howitzer German gun will grace the grounds of the new city and county building, according tu i announcement of Mayor O. K. Hansen Han-sen this morning. The great weapon of war was awarded to Provo by the X.'tah var trophy committee, of which (.'oh W G. Williams, adjutant general of the state of I'tah, is the chairman. It, consists jjf the. gun with carriage and frail piece. It is one of the' trophies taken on the battlefields of France by American doughboys, and is regarded as a precious relic of the great war. The famous gun will be given a .prominent place at the front of the new court house, the landscape of which. tis now being laid by., engineers engi-neers under ihe general supervision of Emil Hansen, instructor in land-I land-I Mcape gardening of the extenioti I division of the Utah Agricultura 1 college. The gtui conies to Provo without ! expense, except the freight, which t the board of city commissioner's today to-day decided it would pay.
