| Show looking prosperity BOSTON march 31 specia the congregational home missionary society closes the seventy first year of its existence today and its officers and executive council are looking eagerly for the adgent of the wave of prosperity financially the past year has been the worst that the society haa experienced I 1 in its seven decades of existence on march ast 1st its to bands for borrowed money was nearly one hundred and twenty thousand dollars and nothing was on hand to meet the standing expenses ol 01 the present month amounting to fifty thousand dollars more the donations and subscriptions during the month have been liberal but the society is still heavily in debt and no beliet is anticipated for some time to come unless in the meantime some bequests beque ats may become available |
