' i One ot the most interesting one-day one-day auto trips from Provo is that In' Maple and Box canyons near Moroni, in the opinion of T. C. Larson, Lar-son, manager bf the Larson Photo Studio of this city. Mr. Larson recently visited these' canyons on an exploring and photographing pho-tographing trip, and returns enthusiastic en-thusiastic over the beauty and difference dif-ference of these two canyons, and especially Box canyon'. ' "There is no reason why Box canyon should not be as popular as i Brycc, at least with the people of j Utah county and the surrounding section," said Mr. Larson. "The formation in the canyon is different differ-ent from anything in any other place. Instead of the solid rock formation the mountains are more of a conglomerate, boulders cemented ce-mented together. The color is different dif-ferent than at Brycc. with gray-I gray-I blue and yellow predominating. ' The narrow passage way in Box canyon and the high cliffs on each side make the canyon entirely different." dif-ferent." A largo number of photos were taken by Mr. Larson on the trip. |
