Show GEORGE HILL LAID TO REST Many friends and relatives paid final tribute to the life of Patriarch George H. 1 i 11 at impressive funeral services held in the Spriiipville Third ward chaiH'l Sunday afternoon. after-noon. The services were under the direct ion of Bishop Ralph Smart, and were opened by a selection from the Peerless Male quartet. The invocation in-vocation was by Oscar M. Mower. Alone Petersen then sans "latl Kindly Li slit." She was accompanied on the piano by Mrs. lialph K. Booth. The speakers, each of whom paid fine Tribute to the life of his departed de-parted friend, were: President T. X. Taylor, of the X'tnh stake presidency presi-dency ; President G. K. Mayeock of Knloh stake: Bishop Adams of Lo-i;au: Lo-i;au: David O. McKay of the quorum quor-um of the Twelve. Other musical uuinWu'S were rendered ren-dered as follows: Vocal solo. "The Passing of a Heiirt." by Murray K. Roberts ; violin solo. Kalph E. Booth: vocal solo. '! Am a Pilgrim,'' Elmo Coffmau, accojnpaniod by Mrs. Louise ( 'off man, and a selection by the Peerless quartet. The benediction was by Oliver B. Iluntinprtoii. Interment was in the Evergreen cemtery, where the. dedicatory dedi-catory prayer was offered by President Presi-dent Frank J. Bringhurst, |
