Show "Life and Destiny," in 18 Lessons Harry A. Overstreet advertises in a New York magazine that he will teach the "Problems of Life and Destiny," in 18 lectures, no more and no less. After listening to all of Mr. Overstreet's 18 lectures, no one need make a mistake as silly as Napoleon's, when he lost the battle of Waterloo. Or Caesar's failing to beware of the "Ides of March" and going to the senate chambers where his assassins lay waiting to stab him. Not only has Mr. Overstreet simplified all the problems of the human race to mere nothings, but most beautiful and touching of all will be the inspiration he will present to his students. They will see before them a man who would rathr spread his knowledge than become, himself, the quintessence quin-tessence of all of history's mighty. |
