Show SOCIETY Miss Mary Roylance was hostess to the members of her Sunday school class of the Fourth ward at a candy pull Sunday evening. Social chat, games, and stories were enjoyed en-joyed by about eight members present. A large number of Christian Endeavor En-deavor workers from the Provo district assembled at the Community Commu-nity church Sunday where a splendid splen-did program and discussion of timely time-ly topics were held. At the conclusion con-clusion of the meeting a social was given and refreshments served. Mrs. Madge Lychiem of Salt Lake spent the week end with her par-enta, par-enta, Mr. and Mrs. Orson Hutchinson Hutchin-son of this city. The members of the Alumni B. A. C. were delightfully entertained at a house party at the home of Miss Vera Packard Monday evening. Social chat and fancy work were features of entertainment, after which a dainty and delicious luncheon lunch-eon was served to the following club members: Miss Josephine San-ford. San-ford. Given Cutler, Margaret Miner, Virginia Packard. Florence Daley, Helen Gottfredson, Carrie Tripp, Mildred Hoffman, and Blanch' Hales. The hostess was assisted in serving by Virginia Packard and Margaret Miner. j i In compliment to their little '. daughter Virginia whose first birth- c day occurred Thursday. Mr. and ! Mrs. Clyde Pace entertained at a ; well-appointed dinner. The guests included the grandparents of the ' i honor guest, Mr. and Mrs. William ! ' Pace. Sir. and Mrs. A. E. Gore and I th; great-grandmother, Mrs. J. M. 1 1 Gore. A pretty birthday cake hold- j ing one candle adorned the center of the table. Many pretty gifts were give nto the honored guest. Among the pleasant social affairs pf the week was the party given ; Saturday evening by Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Neilson at their home. The guests came attired in various costumes cos-tumes representing different characters. char-acters. A number of clever games were played during the evening; also a program of music was enjoyed. en-joyed. At 12 o'clock a delicious luncheon was served to the following follow-ing guests: Mr. and Mrs. James Giles.
