Show Mrs. Flora liiyan returned from Salt Lake a ml Mammoth Monday, where she has spout the past week with her children. She is making iier home at pi-esenL with Mrs. John Bryan. Mrs. Childs won high see re prize during the game of five hundred. Eddie CramlaU returned to bis home in this city "Wednesday after spending several months in Idaho. Nelson Day and daughter Ethel of Lawrence, Utah, left for their home Friday morning, after spending spend-ing two weeks with relatives in this city. C. of Logan spent a few days last week with Miss Cook's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Mark Cook. Thomas Snelson is at his home in this city recovering from a stroke which he suffered recently. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Wing and daughter LaVerne of Bingham are spending several days with relatives rela-tives in this city. A trip which proved to he interesting inter-esting to the hoys and girls was taken tak-en hy the seventh grade of this city to the state fish hatchery Thursday. The class enjoyed a picnic lunch, as well as a study of the different k.'nds of game on the farm. t SOCIETY Mrs. J. K. Reynolds, Jr. delicious luncheon was served at four small tables, at which Easter suggestions, including ducks and hi ckens as favors, were used, fhese also were attached by streamers, stream-ers, to flowers which formed the r-enter piece at each table. Mrs. Paul Thorn was a guest at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Leu Cal- lister of Provo Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. A. O. Thorn and Mr. and Mrs. .T. W. Whiting motored to Ogden Saturday and spent the day with Dr. and Mrs. X. II! Packard. Pack-ard. Mrs. Mary Beckstrom of Spanish Fork visited with her daughter, .Mrs. J. C. Nielson of tills city, Monday. Mon-day. Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Burnett and family of Springville spent Sunday and Monday with relatives in Salt Lake City. Robert riarrison was a Salt Lake visitor last week. He attended attend-ed the tournament and also visited with his cousin Alfred Bissell. Mr. and Mrs. Willis Weight entertained en-tertained at dinner Sunday evening. Guests included Mrs. Weight's mother, Mrs. Ellen Ilogan of Salt Lake, and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Grant and two children. . Mrs., Blake Palfreyman of this city is spending several days, at Price viitli .Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Clark. Mr. and Mrs. Byron Burt came from Chicago Monday evening. They were called home on account of the illness of Mr. Burt's mother, Mrs. B. P. Burt of this city. Mrs. Joseph Grant and Mrs. Willis Will-is Weight motored to Salt Lake Wednesday and spent the day with friends. Mrs. Fred Liddiald of Provo spent Monday afternoon' with her mother, Mrs. Dennis Palfreyman. She left Tuesday morning for Price to spend several weeks with her sister, -Mrs. Lawrence Clark. Mrs. Ellen Hogau of SaltvLake City spent Saturday and Sunday with relatives and friends in Spring ville. G. W. Whiting and A. O. Thorn spent Sunday and Monday at Ruby Canyon, Colorado, where they expect ex-pect to begin contract work in the near future. They will also begin contract work at Kennilworth soon. Among those who attended the stock show at Spanish Fork Wednesday Wed-nesday were: Hoy Blanehard, Howard Zabriskie, Lewis Bird, Fred Clyde and Ray Jenkins. |
