Show WOMAN JAILED AFTERTURMOIL Young Woman "Anarchist" Leads Thousands In Chicago Chi-cago Demonstration CHICAGO, Aug. in (IT) A bright-eyed lS-year-old high school girl paced her cell at police headquarters head-quarters today shouting she was an anarchist after having been arrested arrest-ed while leading thousands ot shouting Sacco-Vanzotti sympathizers sympathiz-ers through the streets last night. It was the girl who brought chaos to an orderly Sacco-Vanzetti protest pro-test meeting. As the meeting ended she dashed to the street shouting, "general strike, general strike." This, added a splash of color to the otherwise drab proceedings of the meeting, inflaming in-flaming the gathering. With the girl, Aurora D'Angela. at the lead, the crowd surged into the street nnd marshed along shouting shout-ing the "Third Internationale" nud upiK'aling for a general strike. One small ikiIIcc motor car attempted at-tempted to stop the parade, but its passage was blocked. Additional police motor cars swept into the tide of shouting enthusiasts nnd tear gas bombs were unloosed into the crowd. The tear gas bombs caused the crowd to disierse and fifteen of the leaders including tiie 18-year-old girl wore arrested. She maintained she had long attended at-tended liberal meetings iu Chicago and said : "I am an annn-hist. My father was an anarchist."
