Show j "THE CIRCUS COWBOY." Combining the romance of the west withe the colorful life of the sawdust ring, 'The Circus Cowboy," 1'linrles Jones' latest William Fox Production, which plays at the Star theater, Saturday August 23, is said to be one of the most highly entertaining enter-taining pictures this star has made. The story concerns a cow-puncher "bo, pursued by a posse in the he-lipf he-lipf that he shot a man, escapes and finds refuge with a circus as a trick rider. This temporary haven sup-Plies sup-Plies romance in the form of n little tight-rope walker but it also supplies sup-plies numberless complications and exciting situations. Marian Nixon, who plays (he girl, offercs some fine support, for Jones. Her piquant, demure personality is in cicid contrast to the solemn, sincerity sin-cerity of the Fox star, and. as in several former pictures, they constitute consti-tute nn admirable paid for the sereen. Others in the cast are Jack McDonald, Ray Hallor, Marguerite Clayton and Geo. Romain. |
