Show AUDIT SHOWS NEBO SCHOOLS IN FI SHAPE Nebo Districts in Good Financial Finan-cial Condition, Say Auditors. The Nebo school district is in an exceptionally good financial condition, condi-tion, according to an audit recently made of the books of the district by Clifford L. Wright, Utah county auditor, and Amos Wood of Spanish Span-ish Fork. The board is complimented for its strict economy and business methods, meth-ods, and William A. Cornaby, who has been clerk of the board for several sev-eral years, is praised for his very efficient ,economical and businesslike business-like manner in handling the affairs of the clerk's office and in giving a strict accounting of the district's finances. According to the audit, the net value of the' property of the district amounts to $002,050.64. The balance sheet shows the total capital assets to be $GS3,100.93. Among the current assets are cash on hand, $22,922.17, less warrants outstanding of $5,333.00; inventories, inven-tories, $12,937.00; unexpired insurance, insur-ance, $123.10; district's equity in I tax sales, $47,395.65. The liabilities of the district consist con-sist of the bonded indebtedness of $158,000, and the accrued interest payable, $2,185. The total receipts during the 1923-24 school year amounted to $509,052.52, and were received from |
