Show FUNERAL HELD IN SPRINGVILLE Services for Mrs. Juliette Thompson Held Last Friday. Funeral services were held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Me-uary Me-uary Friday, August 8, for Mrs. Juliette Thompson, who died of heart trouble in Brigham City, Wednesday Wed-nesday morning at the home of her sister Mrs. Mary Kirk. Rev. V. H. Ensign of the Springville Presbyterian Presby-terian church was in charge. Music wns fnrTiichrift hw o Tn..l was furnished by a male quartet composed of M. E. Crandall, Jr., Italph Snelson, Wm. N. Grooms and Elmo Coffmnn. Elmo Coffman rendered ren-dered a vocal solo. The speakers were Don O. Johnson and Rev. Ensign. En-sign. The burial was in the Evergreen cemetery by the side of her husband. Tta burial rituals were given by Rev. W. H. Ensign. Mrs. Thompson was a resident of Springville for a number of years, during which time she was active in the community in literary work, and i women's club organizations. Her husband, George P. Thompson came to Springville ns station agent for the Denver & Rio Grande Western railroad in the year 1S90, which position he held for more than fifteen fif-teen years. He was an expert railroad rail-road man and was instrumental in ' training a number of Springville I boys, during that time for high positions posi-tions in the railroad work. Mrs. Thompson is survived by one sister. Mrs. Mary Kirk of Brigham City. Utah and a brother who lives in Kansas. |
