Show v7omen of Kiwanians Entertain Clubmen Kiwanis ladies entertained at a Thanksgiving banquet complimentary compliment-ary to their husbands at the Third ward amusement hall Wednesday evening. Mrs. John Anderson was mistress of ceremonies and Mrs. H. T. Reynolds Jr., toastmistress. An appropriats program was given with the following taking part: Vocal solo, Miss Helen Palfreyman; reading, Miss Donna Salisbury; toasts, Mrs. Will Phillips, Mrs. Richard Bird, Mrs. J. D. Reynolds; response, R. L. Mendcnhall. Mrs. Sarah Palfreyman and sons, Louis and Warnick, William Masters Mas-ters and Jack Masters, will go to Bingham to spend Thanksgiving day with Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Masters and family Thursday. An attractive dinner party was ; given Sunday by Mr. and Mrs. . Lewis Johnson at their home in compliment to Mr. and Mrs. James 1 Curtis. f Saturday evening the girls of the 1 Home Economics club of the high , school staged one of the cleverest events of the season when they en. tertainod an especially large num-br num-br of young folks at an old fashioned fash-ioned dress party at the high school. A program of games ami stunts was featured, followed by the serving of dainty refreshments by members of the committee in charge. Mr. and Mis. Harvey Blackett and family of this city were dinner din-ner guests Sunday at the home of their- son, Lawrence and family, In Magna. Mrs. J. N. Pexlon spent the past week with her- sister, Mrs. Clara Hopue and family in Eureka. Leland Johnson with his son, Kelsey, and his mother, Mis. Louisa Johnson spent 07 e day of the past week in Salt Lake, returning return-ing to their- home by way of Park City where they spent a short time with relatives and friends. A delightful afternoon was spent Tuesday by members of the Kensington Ken-sington club of the Springville Community church when they were entertained at the home of Mrs. D. B. Welch. Sewing was the principal feature of the afternoon end the ladies present enjoyed a fine musical program with Mrs. K. V. T3orman and Rever end Harold L. Wilson taking part. Plans for thc bazaar which is to be held December 14 were discussed. A tasty luncheon was served by the hostess to tire following members present : Mrs. A. M. Lyall. Mrs. Peter- Forsyth. Mrs. E. F. Perham. Mrs. Kay Robertson. Mrs. Frank Blackett. Mrs. John Dennison, Mis. F. G. Cameron, Mrs. F. V. Eorman, Mis. A. E. Banehard, Mrs. Joseph Wing and Mrs. II. p:. Urquhart. Mr. and Mrs. D. B.
