Show Strawberry Project Reports 1 Another Successful Season PAYSON -The annual stockholders' stockhold-ers' meeting of the St rawberry Water Users 'association was held Saturday afternoon in the Nebo stake tabernacle. President Asa L. Curtis was in charge and gave a report of the general condition of the association during the past year. The treasurer's report showed show-ed that J99.981.12 had been collected from all sources during the year, plus carry-over of $49,705.01, making mak-ing total of $249,736.13 cash handled. The sum of $195,330.80 was disbursed, disburs-ed, of which $110,000 went to the federal government, leaving $04,-400.33 $04,-400.33 on hand. Mapleton unit was allowed to name a director at a future date to be approved by the board. According to a report by Lee Ii. Taylor, general manager, the total charges under the system for construction, con-struction, operation and uriintcn-ance uriintcn-ance will nut exceed one d'dlar per acre-foot pi r year in the future. A resolution was passed making an assessment of 20 cents per acre-foot acre-foot for operation and maintenance charges for tbn coming year. |
