Show Citations total 185 for Sept. Department of Fish and Game conservation officers issued is-sued a total of 185 citations for infractions of the fish and game code during the month of Sept. according to arrest reports made public today. Justice courts throughout the State assessed the violators violat-ors a total of $4,479.00 in fines for the violations which covered 32 separate sections of the fish and game laws. Most frequent offenses and the number of citations written writ-ten were listed as follows: Carrying loaded gun in vehicle, 19 citations; fishing . without license, 16 citations; shooting migratory birds with unplugged gun, 12 citations. Shooting from a vehicle on the highway, taking overlimits of fish and fishing in .closed waters were responsible for 11 citations each. Citations were also issued for 26 other types of violations. |
