| Show AN prescribing official bonds of the various county officers of utah county state of utah the county commissioners of the county of utah do ordain as follows that all officers within and for utah county in the state of utah who are elected or may be elected to any office in this county whose term of office shall begin on the first day of january 1897 or av any time thereafter shall before entering upon the duties of their respective offices give a good and sufficient bond to the county of utah conditioned for the faithful performance of the duties of said office in the various amounts as are further provided in this ordinance said bonds shall be approved as prescribed by law and recorded and filed as further provided by law the bond of the treasurer of utah county is hereby to be in the penal sum of one hundred thousand dollars the bond of the county clerk of utah county is hereby prescribed to be in the penal sum of ten thousand dollars alie bond of the sheriff is hereby prescribed to be in the aum of ten thousand dollars the bond of the county attorney shall be in the sum of ten thousand dollars the bond of tho county recorder Ee corder shall be in the sum of ten thousand dollars the bond of the county assessor is hereby prescribed to be in the penal sum of thirty thousand dollars the bond of the county surveyor snail be in the sum of two thousand dollars the bond of tha county superintendent of schools shall be in the sum of one thousand dollars the bonds of the various justices of the peace for the various precincts of this county shall be in the sum of one thousand dollars the bonds of the various constables 1 of the various precincts of this coun ty shall be in the sum of one thousand dollars H T REYNOLDS chairman board of county commissioners sio ners endorsed bead third time ani passed by its title upon the affirmative votes of H T reynolds james 0 bullock and jas S peery county commissioners of utah county state of utah dec 7 1896 STATS OF UTAH COUNTY OF UTAH I 1 E L jones county clerk in and for utah county state of utah hereby certify that the foregoing is a full true and correct coax of the original ordinance prescribing official bonds of the various county officers of utah county state of utah and now of record and on file in my office witness and official seal at SEAL my office in provo city this day of december A D 1896 E L JONES county clerk |
