Crandall of this city, which took place May 25, in a ceremony at the First-Twelft- h Ward. Bishop Del Moine Christensen officiated. The attractive bride is a daughter of Mrs. Alein Balzley of Provo and William Balzley of Payson, and the groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. J. Arvil Bird of this city. For the wedding ceremony, the bride chose a gown of white satin with fitted lace bodice fashioned with long tapering sleeves. Her veil of illusion fell from a crown of ; k t l li i ; t j i 'i I . seed pearls and she carried a bouquet of pink rose-bud- s to greet approximately 60 fam-ily members invited to the informal reception following the wedding ceremony. Music for the bridal march was played by Mrs. Judy W. Miner. Serving at small tables centered with an arrangement MARRIED RECENTLY Mr. and Mrs. David W. Cran-dall, married recently, are now at home In Brigham City. of spring flowers, were Mrs. Kent C. Crandall, Mrs. Don Bird and Mrs. Ray Clark. Ca-milla Crandall was at the guest register. A beautiful wedding cake made by Mrs. Kent C. Cran-dall, graced the serving table which was decorated also with cupids and flowers on a lovely lace cloth. Climaxing the evening, the young couple cut their wed-ding cake and unwrapped their gifts. A graduate of Springville High School and LDS Semi-nar)', Miss Clyde has finished two years at the University of Utah, where she was an officer in the Folk and Square Dance Club. A graduate of American Fork High School and a for-K- ; mer student of University of Utah, Mr. Young served three Si rears in the aviation branch of the United States Navy. NanEtte Hyde, Rodney J. Clark to be married in temple soon Charming Miss NanEtte Hyde, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. P. Hyde of this city, has set the date of her mar-riage to Rodney J. Clark, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. Elwin Clark of Salt Lake City on June 21. The ceremony is being planned to take place in the Salt Lake Temple and a wedding breakfast will h6nor the couple after the ceremony. The same evening, a reception will be given in their honor in Kolob Stake House, and on June 28 they will be given an open house in Salt Lake City. A graduate of Springville High School and LDS Sem-inary, Miss Hyde attended BYU where she was- - affiliated with Nautilus of NLU Social Unit and Cumorah Club. Clark in the Salt Lake Temple ceremony on June 21. recently returned from an LDS mission in Great Britain and is employed in the accounting department of the telephone company in Salt Lake City. The prospective bride-groo- m attended Hamilton Tech-nical College in New Zealand while serving with his parents on a work mission and is presently attending University of Utah majoring in engineering. He also filled an LDS mis-sion in the British Isles. The couple will make their home in Salt Lake City. Couple honored at open house A lovely Open House was held Saturday evening, at the home of Mrs. Earl Condie in this city, honoring Miss Lorna Lee, daughter of Jess and Ver-ona C. Lee of Richland, Wash., and Jerry Mikklesen of Rich-land, Wash. They were mar-ried Saturday, June 1, in the Manti LDS Temple. After a trip through Can-ada, the couple will return to Richland, where a wedding re-ception will be given in their honor, June 6. Among relatives here for the Open House, were: Mr. and Mrs. Jess Lee of Richland; Dr. and Mrs. Earl S. Condie, Evanston, Wyo.; Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Condie of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Josalee Mikkelsen, mother of the groom and his sisters, Irene and Mrs. LaDean Windsor, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Ferguson of Richland; and Mr. and Mrs. D. C. Erb and five children of Downey, Calif. The bride graduated from BYU Friday evening and the groom graduated as an indus-trial engineer last year. They will make their home in Rich-land. Three classes hold reunion Fifty eight members of the Classes of 1926, '27 and '28 gathered for a reunion Mem-orial Day at the high school Art Gallery. Visiting, looking over high school pictures, a banquet and a program were highlights of the afternoon and evening. Harold Holley was master of ceremonies. Singing of the old school songs preceded the banquet at which Wilford Manwaring of-fered grace. Harold Holley in-troduced special guests, Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Wingate, and Mrs. Harrison Conover, intro-duced the new principal, Omar Hansen, and his wife. The program consisted of reminiscences given by How-ard Maycock from the class of 1926; Marie Whiting, 1927 and Lois Child, 1928. Mrs. Wilford Manwaring gave instrumental music accompanied by Mrs. Blanche Hales of Spanish Fork and Harold Holley and his daughter, Janet, presented a delightful skit featuring a revue of hat fashions.
