Show Development council discusses senior citizen recreation plan At a special meeting' of the Springville Development Council Coun-cil Monday evening, ways and means of providing constructive construct-ive activity for retired senior citizens in this area was a principal item of busness taken up. It was pointed out that there is quite a number of townspeople towns-people past the age of active employment, who would welcome wel-come some type of activity and entertainment. It was also noted at the meeting that other communities in the county are making provisions for this age group, providing recreation for them as well as for the younger young-er people. At the meeting which was held at the Harold Whiting home, Mrs. Whiting, president of the Council of Federated Womens clubs, pledged the support of the group in a constructive program. A. I. Tippetts and Wallace Brockbank were appointed to make an investigation of programs pro-grams in other communities.
