Show V ' ' '! : ! ' Thomas L. Jensen going on a mission to the Gulf States, will be honored at a farewell Sunday in the Ninth ward. Thomas Jensen farewell Sun. in Ninth Vard Honoring Thomas L. Jensen, son of Mr, and Mrs. Clarence L. Jensen, who leaves soon on an LDS mission to the Gulf States, a farewell testimonial will be given Sunday evening in. the Ninth ward beginning at 5" p.m. He will leave Monday for the mission home. Scheduled to speak at the farewell are: Erwin L. Sheffield, Shef-field, principal of the Seminary and Bishop Forrest R. Allred. The parents will give remarks and the missionary will respond. re-spond. . There will be a vocal solo by O. Dale Blackburn and other music will be furnished by the congregation. Prelude and postlude music will be by Elaine Craig. The invocation will be by Kent H. Huff and the benediction benedic-tion by Gerald L. Ollerton. Other missionaries in the field from the Ninth ward, are: Lyle James Maynard, Hawaiian; Hawai-ian; Wesley B. Hoover South Australian; Lee L. Condie, California. Personally, we' keep a close, eye on that type of man best vknown as a go-getter. He might get too much, and some of it might belong to us. - |
