Club outlines plans for big event next Wednesday chants, will be awarded the holders of lucky memberships. First on the agenda of the newly organized Teen-Ac (teen-age activities) group is the all sports night next Wednesday Wed-nesday June 1, beginning at 5 p.m., at the City Park with volley-ball, badminton, croquet, dancing and a treasure hunt planned for the evening. Everyone Every-one 15 to 19 years, are invited. For those 'not asquainted with the purposes of the new organization, leaders announce that it is being organized to provide social and recreational recreation-al activity for teen-age boys and girls. During the past two months, a temporary council of ten has worked' out a program and in September, a permanent council coun-cil will be formed. The girls are asked to prepare pre-pare a lunch for next Wednesday Wednes-day evening and bring it to the park. The boys will bid and the highest bidder will get the lunch and the privilege of eating with the girl who prepared pre-pared it. The girls are asked to make the box as pretty as possible. Money from this en- tertainment will be used to : purchase equipment for the club. : One dollar memberships wll also be sold that evening and ' prizes donated by the mer- |
