Show Mrs. Eissell ia doing nicely after af-ter an operation some months ago but Mr. Bissell is not so well. Both are former residents of Springville. Mr. and Mrs. Kelley Jensen and four children have return ed from a vacation trip to Yellowstone Park and Idaho Falls, Ida., where they attended attend-ed the wedding and reception for Carolyn Lasson and Ronald Davis. Martin Conover, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harrison Conover and Norman Loback, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl C. Loback, left recently to take basic training in the Guard's six-months six-months program at Fort Ord, Calif. Both recently returned from LDS missions, Norman serving in Eastern Canada and Martin in Tahiti. Helen Anderson has returned from Hawaii, where she spent her summer vacation visiting a daughter Donna, who is employed em-ployed in office work at Honolulu. Hono-lulu. She made the trip to and from the islands by plane and during her stay toured numerous num-erous places of tourist attraction attrac-tion including trips to all the outer islands. She also visited the LDS temple and was especially es-pecially interested in the new church school which was still in session when she arrived at Honolulu. She is resuming her work as teacher at the Brook-side Brook-side school this week. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Roylance of Vernal visited over the weekend in Springville with Mr. and Mrs. George Roylance and Mr. & Mrs. W. R. Harmer and other relatives and friends. In company with Mr. and Mrs. T. DeVere Payne and family fam-ily of Bountiful Mrs. Maude Thorn of this city attended the wedding of his sister, Carolyn Lasson and Ronald Davis at Idaho Falls Temple Wednesday Wednes-day of last week. Enroute to Bountiful Mrs. Thorn stayed over-night with a son Howard Thorn and family in Salt Lake City and she also spent one night with the Payne family at Bountiful. Mr. and Mrs. Alma Fullmer and granddaughter Janet Rig-by, Rig-by, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Don Rigby, returned home recently re-cently from an enjoyable four weeks trip east. They traveled over 6000 miles attending the |
