Mrs. Genevieve Allan was hostess to the members of the Sierra Bonita Club at her home Thursday evening where a delicious hot supper was served early in the evening followed by visiting and social chat. Her guests included Lane La-ne Warren, Iris Dibble, Myrl Diamond, Iva Snow, Louise Jensen, Beth Jensen, Fern Crandall, Barbara Murray, Rebecca Re-becca Fullmer, and Blanch Tew. The next club will be at the home of Rebecca Fullmer. The home of Mrs. Donna Reiske was the meeting place of the Primary officers and teachers for the preparation meeting for the Mapleton ward. They met Monday night where the lesson was given by Mrs. Ranella Taylor. Refreshments Refresh-ments served by the hostess assisted by Nellie Taylor, Gar-netta Gar-netta Dotson and Vera Pulsi-fer Pulsi-fer concluded the evening. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Chipman and their family of Bountiful spent the week end at the- home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jensen. While they were here a family dinner was given attended by the other members of the Jensen family. Among them were the Laird family (Jane) from Provo and i Paul and Duane Jensen and I their families of Mapleton. Dr. Rex Whiting and his family were Sunday visitors at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Whiting. 1 Three members of the Norris Nor-ris T. Binks family were honored hon-ored at a pot luck supper at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Glade Binks in Springville Saturday Sat-urday evening, the occasion being their birthday. Honored guests were Blair, Glade and Debra Binks. Other guests included, in-cluded, John and Barbara Binks of Bountiful, Cornell, Dorothy, Susan, Craig and Carolyn Binks of Payson, Mr. and Mrs. Norris T. Binks of Mapleton, the hostess Collette Binks and daughters Christine and Debra. |
