Show . Survey Makes Pages of WLL Magazine The story of a recent survey I made by the Springville Her-i Her-i aid to determine the number of people in Springville subscribing subscrib-ing to state, county and local newspapers, together with the percent listening to radio and TV at various times of the day, has attracted national attention atten-tion making the pages of the Nation Publisher, May edition, in Washington, D.C. Over "a page in the national magazine was devoted to the article together with three pictures, pic-tures, one with Mr. Conover compiling figures on the survey sur-vey and another of Dick Wiley who made a house-to-house call talking to a housewife to secure se-cure information. On the cover of the magazine is a large picture of Gordon Owen, manager of the Utah State Press Assn. showing the brochure compiled from the survey, to an advertising agency ag-ency executive. At the time the survey was made, information was also secured se-cured for a directory which was distributed to all subscribers of the Springville Herald. |
