Show Graveside Services Held Tuesday For Four Fire Victims of Family Graveside services were held at the Evergreen cemetery Tuesday noon, for a father and three children, former resi- dents of Springviile, who lost their lives when their home was burned to the ground in a stove explosion at Snohomish, Wash., last Tuesday morning. The victims were Leo Qonrad Stark, 30; Ida Joan, 3; Terry Lee one and a half years and Timmy LeRoy, two months. Bishop Reed Bennett of the Mapleton Second ward officiated officiat-ed at the service. Full military honors were accorded by the American Legion Post No. 28, directed by Commander Mar-tain Mar-tain Reed. Mr. Stark was born May 9, 1928, at Freedom, Utah, to Joseph Jo-seph and Eva Jensen Stark. He was educated in Moroni and Springviile schools. He enlisted en-listed in the U. S. Navy in 1946 and was discharged in 1950. He married Arlene Singleton Nov. 23, 1947, in the Manti LDS Temple. Surviving are his wife, two sons, Richard and Steven, and two daughters, Deborah Ann and Roseann; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Stark of St. George; a brother, Cleon Stark of Mapleton, and sisters, Mrs. Irwin (Ada) Curtis of Mapleton, Maple-ton, Mrs. Lyndon (Clara) Peterson Pe-terson of Provo and Mrs. Louis (Ruby) Stallings of Page, Arizona. Ari-zona. Of the children who died, one was born in Spokane, Wash.; one in Monroe, Wash.; and a third in Payson. Ida Joan was born Dec. 23, 1955 in Spokane; Terry Lee was born March 4, 1957 in Payson and Timmy LeRoy was born July 17, 1958 at Monroe, Wash. |
