If you are interested as to whether or not your child is worrying, come to school and ask Mr. Bell and he will show you a test that was given recent-ly to the children of the fifth and sixth grades. It would sur-prise you the things that some children worry about, some of which could probably be prevent-ed by just a little attention di-rected toward that end. Those who have the greatest number of different worries are being BINGHAM CENTRAL SIM Note The Carnival is over and it in-deed was a howling success. The children were not restricted as to loud talking and running in the halls so they madcup for all time lost this year in that re- - called in and their apparent dif-ficulties discussed with them to see what ones can he eliminated simply by a little direction. The same test is to lie given to the fourth grades yet this week. We have had several students withdraw from school recently. Some have left the state, some have moved to other parts of this state and a few, we are sor-ry to say, have had to withdraw on account of their health. The child's health, now-a-day- s, is watched in school about as close-ly as his learning, and probably more so. The district health coun-cil has indeed done a great work and of course is still at it. Are you 0 sped. The fortune telling, palm reading, weighing, star gazing. Bingo and photography were im-portant features and caused a great deal of amusement. Practi-cally everything that was pur-chased- for the event was sold and at a price satisfactory to the students. The school certainly wishes to most heartily thank the parents who came and who so willingly helped in everything they saw there was to do. It was all entirely voluntary and was certainly appreciated. The par-ents are to be further commend-ed for permitting their children to earn their money for spend-ing. Also, the school appreciated having the Copperton sixth grade students here to play the two softball games, one with our sixth grade girls and one with our six-th grade boys. Our girls carried off honors in the game but the boys of Copperton seemed too much for our boys, for they walk-ed away with the long end of the score. The relative scores of the two games were: Bingham Cen-tral girLs, 5, Copperton girls, 4; Bingham Central boys, 4, Copper-to- n boys, 5. The Copperton youngsters entered into the spi-rit of the occasion, too, by wear-ing their misfit clothing which added to the fun. All in all, the thing was a complete success. The next event, the Jordan dis-trict May Day Festival, is' close upon us. We will repeat a part )f our Galena Day's parade so that those who did not have an opportunity to see it here last 'all may see at least a part of it. rhe committee in charge of the 'estival have asked us to take the state P.-T.- Mrs. Nerdin was elected one of the vice presidents of the Utah Congress and the publicity scrapbook prepared for past two years by her was pro-nounced the best submitted by any state association and exhibit-ed at various conventions.
