Show Mrs Annie Marie Miller Dead Funeral services were held in the fourth ward meeting house over tho remains of Sister Miller who died June 28th at her home The services were called to order at 230 p m by Albert Swenson first counsellor to Bishop A Hansen The ward choir sang Shall We Meet Beyond the River The opening prayer was offered by August wcnson The choir sang I Need Thee Every Hour Most Gracious Lord The speakers were C R Larsen Bishop Bis-hop Marinius Larsen Wm Grotegut and Albert Swenson all of whom spoke wooly of praise of the deceased and consolation to the bereaved The theme of nil the speakers < leas that Sister Miller was a dutiful wife a loving mother and devoted LatterDay Saint The one absorbing thought of her life was her duty to those whom God had ntrustcd o her keeping Sister Miller has been a widow for 12 years her husbands name was Charles Miller who died in Spanish Fork Sister Miller was the daughter of James Hansen one of the early settlers of this city She was born in Spanish Fork May 9 SCO She leaves six children to mourn her loss beside a host of loving relatives rela-tives and friends Her casket was covered with flowers woven into beautiful iful designs The stand was draped In white and decorated with ferns evergreens and flowers The congregation congre-gation was large and attentive The singing was most excellent GAH |
