Show AGREEMENT AT DENVER The Railroads Make Concessions and Also Certain Demands Salt Lake CItYAu unofficial report re-port from Denver is to the effect that the Joint conference of the representatives representa-tives of the leading twelve western railroads and the representatives of their employees have come to nn agreement between the roads and their yardmen The agreement concedes the 2cents anhour advance in the wages of the yardmen providing the rallroan unions agree to certain conditions regarding re-garding overtime and the right of tin roads to employ and discharge men for what they consider to be good cause irrespective of the opinion of union officials The railroad representatives represen-tatives also demand that tho concessions conces-sions shall not be used as a club o the members of tho telegraphers conductors con-ductors and engineers unions Grand Master P H Morrissey who has virtually been delegated full power by the yardmen Is quoted ns saying that in his Judgment an amicable ami-cable settlement would bo arrived at before the week was out |
