Show Death of William E Lloyd Funeral services were held last Mon dllY afternoon in thefhird ward meeting muse over the remainn of William E lejyd who died on thu 27th ult of heart failure at the age of 02 years The speakers were Bishop George ilalcH George A Hicks and Marinua Larson all of whom gave short addresses address-es eulogizing the life and character of the deceased The choir led by Hoes D James sang 0 My Father Nearer My Goel to Thee and Home fjujint llmni On nrfnillit i f llll absence of Mr Lloyds brother the burial did not take place until Tuesday The pull bearers were Elks from Mammoth Mam-moth of which lodge Mr Lloyd was a member The meeting houhe was crowded with relatives and friends of the deceased The easkct was completely com-pletely covered with beautiful flowers woven into intricate designs Mr Lloyd was born In Aberdoveny South Wales in 1817 and came to Utah when he was 1C years of ago and bellied bel-lied in this city In 1881 he married Miss Elizabeth Sponsu of Salt Lake City Seven children were born to the couple four boys ami threo girls all of whom with the widow survive him Since 1898 Mr Lloyd has lived in Mammoth I Mam-moth |
