| Show Passes SeventyFifth Mile Stone I James W Thomas better known as Wylie Thomas gave a party on Tuesday Tues-day the 7th of September in honor of his 75th birthday The party was given at his fine ranch south of Spanish Fork There were present about seventyfive guests nearly all of whom were family relatives with about half a dozen who were not in any way related A lovely dinner was served to all present mel lons and fruit were in great plenty After dinner foot racing and other outdoor I out-door sports were enjoyed Money changed hands quite often John P I Creer bet the same half dollar several times and won Joseph Berry of Provo wits therewith there-with a big automobile and gave a number num-ber of those present a ride to town and back There was music and singing in the house with Miss Grace Brock bank at the organ A number of little I I girls sang very fine It was a day long to bo remembered by all present The writer wishes Mr Thomas many happy returns H |
