Show BEES FORM friendships of a YOU youns Z man allan to whom a they tools tok a likic 1 I always loved bees said the young maringold man in gold bowed glasses behind the dairy counter as he handed dow down a a honeycomb for the inspect inspection iou of an idle stomer customer u according to the new york sun when I 1 was on the farm he continued 1 I could go all about the lures and not get stung and none of the others dared go near the bees we used to have an old farmer come around and nil tend to the swarms but one day when I 1 was a boy working in the fields I 1 heard a great humming noise up in the air and saw a swarm a coming well I 1 picked up atin a tin pan that ahat was avas there and hammered on it till the bees settled on the end of a fence rail then I 1 thought I 1 could tend to the swarm as well as the old farmer so I 1 got an old hive washed it out with honey and water rubbed my hands banda and arms with burdock juice and honey water and went at the bees I 1 got them off that rail by the handful and they never stung me after that I 1 regularly tended to the bees whenever there was a swarm I 1 rolled up my sleeves took off my sh shoes oc s and hat and went at them I 1 have taken them from all sorts of places bat I 1 was never stung only once light on my head bead by the dozen and crawl through mahair my hair that used to send cold chills down by back sometimes t my arms were so covered with bees that from wrist to elbow you see the flesh the one bric time c when I 1 was stung I 1 had found a swarm and was sawing it off and at the same time holding on to it that it should not fall to the ground with the bem bees in doing this I 1 squeezed one of the bees and it new flew straight at my temple and stung me just above the eye ete since I 1 left the farm the folks have given up the bee business theres no doubt about it bees like some folks and hate others and I 1 dont know any reason for tha difference |
