Show Cupid Is Winner After a "Battle" of Half Century By Universal Service. BOSTON, June 23. Cupid is a hard little fellow to boat. The renewal of a fifty-year-old courtship, court-ship, which began in the hoopskirt days up in Yarmouth, N. S., was ended in the marriage of Mrs. Mary A P (Durkee) Bcash of New Haven, Conn., to Abjjar E. Ellis, a well-known AUston contractor, at his homo. The ceremony was Ferfrnled ? the Rev. Ernest P. Herrick, pastor of the AUston Methodist Episcopal church. Mr and Mrs. Ellis had not seen one another for more than two-score two-score years until last winter, when, with the renewal of their friendship friend-ship came the announcement of their engagement.
