Show GEMMELL DROPS TO THIRD PLACE Gemmell ousted the Provo Timps from a tie for second place in the Industrial league by winning win-ning a 9-6 decision in ten innings Saturday. In the pitchers box for Gemmell, Gordon Rhodes struck out ten men. The Provo crew were not long in getting their revenge when they came to Bingham Wednesday Wednes-day and blasted the clubmen into third place with a 12-10 setback. In spite of the home runs garnered by Frank Zacca-ria Zacca-ria and Frank LaComb and the 7-3 lead the boys had in the fourth inning the team was unable un-able to halt the Timps piling up 16 hits from Pitchers Sammy Oliver and Gordon Rhodes. Sunday the club on the Copper-ton Copper-ton field chalked up its third win in a week to place themselves themselv-es in second spot in the Industrial Industri-al league. The clubmen gave Dividend Di-vidend their second tumble, winning 9-7. Led by Jack Smith with three hits in four times up, the clubmen built up a 3-0 lead in the first three frames, pulled away in the sixth after Dividend tied the score.
