Show WHITE TO APPLY FOR HABEAS WRIT HAMMOXTON, N. J., Dec. 15. Counsel Coun-sel for C. X. S. White, the Hammonton dahlia grower charged with the murder of "Billy" Pansy, announced tonight that he would apply, probably tomorrow, for a writ of habeas corpus for the release of White and Mrs. Edith Jones, housekeeper for White's father. Mrs. Jones is -charged with being an accessory after the fact. The application, the attorney said, will be made to Supreme Court Justice Charles Black. Edmund C. Gaskill, Jr., Atlantic . county prosecutor, in charge of the Dansy case, said tonight that he was prepared to meet such a move and if the accused were released re-leased it would not stop him from pressing for an indictment. G. Arthur Bolte, counsel for White and Mrs. Jones, maintains the prosecutor has no evidence on, -.which to hold his clients. |
