Show OFFICERS UNCOVER ALLEGED ILLICIT STILL e Boys Suspected of Opeij ating Brandy Distillery; Must Explain Acts. With the wrecking of the last of a gang of youthful moonshiners at 53 North Fifth West street last night by Juvenile Officer Of-ficer J. E. Shields and Plaln-clothesman D. H. Clayton, and' the confiscation of enough raisin pulp to make moro than 100 gallons of brandy, the officers assert that the source of the beverage which has .been the cause of numerous parties In the vicinity has been destroyed. Four youths, ranging in age from J3 to 17 years, believed to have been the operators op-erators of the illicit still, have been cited to appear in. the juvenile court- today to , explain to Judge C. M. Nielsen. The hoys, .according to Officer Shields, had excavated a cellar underneath the abandoned building at 53 North Fifth West street, and had improvised a fireplace, fire-place, where the pulp ' was prepared. Nearly one hundred pounds of raisin pulp and fifty pounds of candied citron, in addition ad-dition to a number of tools and casks, were taken by the officers. |
