Major General Joseph Jjickman, commander of the Amcriecn army of occupation, yesterday was made knight commander of the Kath. The honor was conferred on him in the name of King George V by Sir Herbert Fiuramer, ' commander of the j bntihh Second army. The ceremonies were simple and were held in the artillery barracks at Coloene, a brigade of ISritihh infantry being lined up m honor of the occasion. At the same time. British decorations were ai-o prcrent'J to thirteen other officers of-ficers of the American Third army. The order of knight commander of Michael and George was conferred upon .Major Generals J. L. Hines, C. Jf. Muir, George Jie-il, Jr., and William Lassiter. Brigadier Generals Malin Craig and II. A. Smith received the commander of the Bath. Tiie order of commander of .Michael and George was given to Colonels John B. Montgomery, D. H. Biddle, L. V. Coh-man. W. H. Wooten and Lieutenant Lieuten-ant Colonel H. C Stebbins. Colonel H. H.
