The charges include sabotage, el plonage, attempt to bribe, sale of nai co'.ics. offering protection to a deseru from the United Staces army, embezzH ment. violation of the Mann act, violatio of the Reed amendment, fraud by rail ing the amount of a money order and th operatio'n of a bouse of ill fame within te miles of a military posh The grand jury considered twenty-seve cases presented to it by the United State district attorney, on evidence secure principally through the bureau of investi (ration of the department of justice. Th number of indictments returned is th largest in the history of any federal gran ! jury in this state.
