The reasoh for the quarantine, as announced an-nounced hy Colonel Hanson, Is that Ma-jor-General Lei ten does not desire either officers or enlisted men in camp to come in contact with the civilian population. The incidence of Influenza in camp has been decreasing steadily for the past few days, it was said by Major I. L. McGlas-son, McGlas-son, division sanitary inspector, and has been increasing in the cities and communities commu-nities to which the men go on their weekend week-end passes. While the camp is being freed of the disease through the efforts of medical officers, it is not desired that this work be counteracted by soldiers bringing tho germs into camp from the outside. Beginning tomorrow morning a strict tuarnntine will be established here which ,vill forbid soldiers, including officers, en-Isted en-Isted men and civilian employees from caving the military reservation and prohibiting pro-hibiting civilians from entering.
