Show COMPANY TO BEGIN SPRING DEVELOPMENT Joseph Bevan, president of the Tooele Mining company, with his son, left last week for the property to start the spring campaign of development work. Mr. Bevan said when he was out at the property over twenty years ago, he was working on a three foot vein of high grade silver ore, from which he got a sample which assayed 4300 ounces silver. He states that the vein wae either purposely pur-posely or unintentionally covered over by some rather inexperienced miners, who worked on the property at the time. He now intends to uncover this vein, which, he says, is located on the property, and to start shipping ore from it in the near future. After he has opened up the original vein and made a shipment he intends to continue con-tinue the main tunnel on the property to the contact, where he expects to encounter encoun-ter a large body of ore. This will require hardly a month, as he has only fifty or sixty feet to strike the contact. Tooele Bulletin. |
