Show HILLE C1PM IS INSTALLING MILL Big Tonnage of Ore Is Blocked Out; Plant to Be Ready in 90 Days. John A. Spiker, president and manager of the Unionville Mining company, with property located at Unionville, New, 19 miles south of Mill City on the Southern Pacific railroad, said yesterday that the last load of machinery for the mill to be installed had been shipped and that the plant would pro into commission in ie?s than ninety days. "We will be turning out bullion before that lime,'' he declared. de-clared. - The T'nionville company, of which Mr. Spiker is president and A. A. Covey secretary, sec-retary, holds twelve claims in a district that is now enjoying what might well be termed a young boom. About everything every-thing in sight has been located, said MY. Spiker. who hfis just returned from the district, and three other companies are putting up mills, two of which are for the treatment of tungsten ores. Mr. Spiker said that his comrany had 10.000 tons of S'oO ore blocked out, with 2000 tons on the dump. The ore is oxy-dized oxy-dized gold -silver . product, free milling and carrying fil in gold and $10. SO in silver. It will be treated by an amalgamation amalga-mation and cyanide process and the plant which the Unionville company is putting in will have a capacity of fifty tons per day. With the tonnage of ore in sight of such magnitude as to insure a mill run for a considerable period, it is anticipated tha t the results derived will af ford opportunity op-portunity for development of the property prop-erty on a much larger scale and that the Unionville mill will In time be enlarged to far greater capacity. |
