The peace talk has made the ivork of tho patriotic men and women at the head of the bond campaign doubly hard; but the money must be raised or we shall not be able to dictate terras to the autocratic au-tocratic central powers for many weary months to come. Failure now might even prolong the war for years. We must be on our guard against all sorts of rumors and fake offers and back the government to the last dollar. There is do other way to obtain a lasting peace. ,
