This plan of bringing the state up to Us proper place in sales of war savings stamps was decided upon aJter many other schemes had been considered by the state committee. In opening the campaign cam-paign for this new plan in savings the committee will send out letters to trade unions, railroads, big lumber concerns, mining companies and merchants, and all general channels, asking their co-operation with the local county committees in making "save-a -day's-pa y" day a thorough thor-ough success, and making the sales on those days absolutely aside from the regular reg-ular amounts spent each month by the people in filling their pledges.
