Show Utah Artillery Is Featured in Fine Film Pictures. T TXUSU AL interest centers at the raraniount-Kmpros in the current bill, which opened a four-day run yesterday, yes-terday, from the fact that pictures of the 145th Utah artillery are featured in serial farm, one reel eac h week. Those who went expecting to see some samples of amateur photography were agreeably surprised to find the pictures presented in first-class style, with snappy subtitles artistically illustrated and assembled, while the photography i the equal of the beat studio work. These pictures, which were taken under instructions from the state council of defense and parsed upon by the war department. were greeted with considerable acclaim and applause and generally made a big hit. Moyd A. Timmerman. war correspondent correspond-ent in France for The Salt Lake Tribune, occupies a conspicuous place in these pictures. Mr. Tim merman, who passed eleven months with the Utah bovs at Camp Kearny, recently left an Atlantic port tor overseas duty for The Tribune In the pictures be is shown moving about the camp gathering news. It will be remembered that The Tribune kept its readers in daily touch with the Utah boys while they were preparing for the trip abroad and it was Mr. Timmerman who supplied each day a column or more of highly interesting reading matter. The photodi-ama. otherwise headline attraction on the new bill, is Klsie Ferguson Fer-guson in her latest Arterafl production, ; Heart of the Wilds," a splendid pictur-lzation pictur-lzation of the stage plav by Kdrar Selwyn.
