BRIGHAM CITY NURSE DIES OF INFLUENZA Special to The Tribune. BRIGHAM CITY. Dec. 2. Spanish influenza, in-fluenza, followed by pneumonia, caused the death here this morning of Miss Leonie Reed or after on illness of about a week. Miss Reeder was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George D. Reeder of Brigham City and was born here November Novem-ber lti, 1R91. Miss Reeder was a graduate of the local high school. Soon after receiving her diploma she went to Salt Lake and took special training at the L. D. &'. hospital hos-pital for nursing. About two years hko she completed her courso there and remained re-mained in Salt Lake to lake up her chosen profession. She was constantly at the bedside of the late President Joseph Jo-seph F. Smith during his illness and death, and came to her home immediately immedi-ately a fter he died to nurse her father and other members of the family, who wore suffering with influenza. She contracted the disease while performing per-forming this work.
