Show FORFEITURE OF BAIL NOT TO BE ALLOWED Special to The Tribune. OGDEN, Dec. 2. There will be no forfeiting for-feiting of bail In cases coming before the municipal court in the future. The defendants will be brought into court on a bench warrant and face the possibility of a heavier fine. This is tin order that wajs Issued today by Judge D. R. Roberts, u pun assuming the position as judge ol the court, succeeding George S. Barker, resigned. In announcing the order, which is to apply in all bootleggTng and health law violations. Judge Huberts said that ho would issue the hench warrants for thostt-who thostt-who would forfeit bail in these cases. He said that he wished to hear all sides ol the cases. It was slated that a similar order would probably be issued regarding gambling cases when the present city ordinances ore amended. |
