Show MORE PRECAUTIONS TAKEN AT OGDEN People Will Not Be Allowed Al-lowed to Congregate on Streets or in Stores. Special to Tho Tribune. OGDEN, Nov. 21. Dr. T. B. Beatty of the state board of health met with the city board of health and city commission this afternoon and as a result extra police po-lice officers will be appointed to prevent people from congregating on the streets or in stores. Five deaths and 114 new cases iy the day's toll of influenza today, according-to according-to the reports from the oft ice of tiie city health board, late this afternoon. The- deaths are as follows: John Kdgar CJutke, IS years of age, son of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar J. Outke. died last nifrht at the family residence, 750 Twenty-fifth street, of influenza-pneumonia. The funeral cortege will leave the home at 4 p. m. tomorrow for the Mt. View cemetery, where services Tvill be held at the grave. Helen M. Baumfjardner, o years of ape, o usrhter of Mr. and Airs. Timothy Bamn-gartlner, Bamn-gartlner, died at midnight last night of pneumonia following Influenza. She Is survived by her parents and four brothers, broth-ers, one of whom is in France. Funeral notice will be given later. The father la the agent for the Oregon Short Line at Thornton, Idaho. Alice Davis, 7 years old, daughter of Mrs. Alice Davis, died yesterday of pneumonia pneu-monia after a brief illness. The girl and her mother were here from Fanaria, Idaho, for the girl's education. The body will be taken to Idaho for interment. Jason Osborne Nye, aged IS months, son of Victor and Tusne'da Nye. died at midnight hist night of pneumonia. The funeral cortege will leave the home, Seventh Sev-enth street and Lincoln avenue, at 2 o'clock and proceed to the City cemetery, where funeral services will be held. Mrs. Laverna Neilson, years of age, wife of Peter A. Neilson of Afton, Wyo., died at o'clock this morning at 214 Twenty-first street, where the family has been residing for the past tw months. Slve is survived by her husband and two children, who are ill with the influenza. The funeral arrangements will be announced an-nounced later. |
