Show UNUSUAL ROBBERIES END AT BLACKFOOT Two Men and Two Women Steal Jewelry, Silks, Clothing, Shoes, Knives and Automobiles. Special to The Tribune. BLACKFOOT Idaho. Sept. 2 Black-foot Black-foot last night furnished a chapter to an unusual series of robberies in the theft of a new seven-passenger auto belonging to Louis Felt. Earlier in the day the officers of-ficers were notified to watch for three men and three women who were sus- 1 pected of stealing Jewelry, silks, clothes, shoes and knives at Mackay, making their escape in a stolen automobile. The car was a small one, but served to carry the load near to Moore ln the Lost River valley, where it became mired. At Moore a seven-passenger car was appropriated and driven, at fast speed tlirough the remainder of that valley and over the desert to Tabor, where a smashed wheel forced the crowd to spend I the day with a rancher. ' Two of the men then proceeded to Blackfoot on a freight train. Here they stole Felt's car, which was parked in front of the city hall. They returned to Xabor, picked up their party and the stolen goods and have not since been located. Officers of Blackfoot. Pocatello, Idaho Falls and Mackay are following every possible trail. A reward of $150 has been posted. |
